Charterhouse Property Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Carrs Lane Travelodge in Birmingham City Centre.
Charterhouse Property Group acquired the property which was developed in 2012 and is leased to Travelodge and Tesco’s. The freehold site comprises an 88 bed budget hotel and convenience store on the ground floor.
Commenting on the deal Tom Hesp, Director, said:
“This a high quality, long-let, city centre asset. There is a bit of work to do to make this asset institutional quality again, however there is a clear package of works that can be progressed to do this. This key area of focus at Charterhouse at moment with our cross-sector strategy of remediation and repositioning.”
